At Thames & Hudson I worked in the creative direction of the company’s new website, as well as the creation of digital assets. I worked closely with the Web Design team to create a fully fluently responsive website which will drive sales and create brand engagement through all devices. My main tasks include making sure that the branding is consistent throughout every page of the website. The product pages and the way our books are showcased is also one of the main points of my role in this project. Not only was I involved in the creation of set guidelines for the photography of each of the titles listed, but also a key player in the retouching process of these.
Since 1949, Thames & Hudson’s mission isn’t just to create beautiful books. Its mission was and continues to be to create a ‘museum without walls’. This was the main idea behind this website, to create a platform where the user could search freely for each title, get an idea of the insides of each book and to navigate easily through similar books and categories.
